Bell Bottoms 2.O

The Bell bottoms are back again. I was messing around and experimenting with this little vintage gem that you seen here. I think I've rekindled my love for it recently after finding it hidden at the back of my wardrobe. Despite it being a little bit itching because of the fluffy material, I still love it. It works strangely well with so many outfits even though it's such a simple piece! Shout out to mam for this fav, once again!

What I eat in a day #4- hclf

Now that I have a (nearly) functioning kitchen I've reignited an old flame -my Nutribullet. After months of not being able to have smoothie bowls and lots and lots of yummy fruit, I can safely say I missed it! That being be said, I haven't got very much ripe fruit in the house..(if it's not one thing, it's the other!)
Anyhow, I made the best of what I had. As always I had snacks along the way like bread and crackers with the soup and some extra food like more apples, alongside the smoothie!

Porridge and orange and mango juice!

Banana, date and cocao goodness with 1 apple and a tablespoon of milled flaxseed, sunflower & pumpkin seeds as well as Linseed with cranberry and almonds! I mainly put these in my smoothie bowls and smoothies for the extra crunch but theyre also a really good source of omega 3, vitamin E, Zinc and Magnesium!

This soup has been a god send this winter. Super filling and hearty!

What has been your winter staple?

1975 Bell Bottoms.

With Spring/Summer wear already hitting the shops (can you believe we're already talking about summer?!) These flares are the ultimate 70s piece and we're in the sale in H&M so I whipped them up before they were taken. I spent all of last summer trying to find a pair of these bad boys but couldnt find them least not ones that were under 30 euro! As I've mentioned before my mission since around Halloween has been to inject more colour into my wardrobe- which is going relatively well so far, however i think now that 2016 is in full swing that I'll extend that mision to more prints and patterns too! I guess these guys are the first of the bunch! So far I've worn more colour than prints but we'll there!
These bell bottoms are in mint condition, though I'm not sure if they're last season wear or what but I was glad to find them either way!
What are you looking forward to this coming fashion season?

Invisalign Journey #1.

So on Tuesday I got my first tray of invisalign retainers and thought it would be useful to document the journey here! Now that I've had them on for a good few days I think I can talk frankly about my feels about it all up to this point.
So to start off, I have pretty bad teeth. Like most people, having a not so pretty smile can really affect your confidence and braces have been something I've wanted for years now so I was beyond excited to start this process!
One side of my mouth is fairly presentable but the other is just a mess! I have a mixture of crooked teeth along with teeth that are stuck too far up in the gums. My overbite is normal, thank god but because of the severity of the "crookedness", it's going to take a lot to get my pearly whites straight!
If you aren't sure what invisalign or clear braces are they're basically the removable retainer version of traditional braces. I can take them out when eating and pop them back in after cleaning, meaning they're much more hygienic! You get different trays to change every 2 weeks as your teeth move with the occasional check up needed every 6 or 8 weeks, depending on what stage you're at. It should also be noted that the optimal wear is 21 hours a day so try and make sure you don't leave them off for hours while eating!
I'll have them on for about 18 months in total. I also have 10 attachments on my upper front teeth. (If you didn't know, the attachments are these little white lumps that are glued to your teeth to help the movement process, the same as the ones you would have with normal, "train track" braces!) I also have about 4 altogether on my bottom front teeth. These are going to really speed up the movement and overall process! Because of these attachments I found it really difficult to remove the top retainer for the first 2,maybe 3 days. The attachments mean I can't pull straight down like most people can, but rather I have to manoeuvre them a lot more to get them off!
So make sure to follow if you're thinking of getting invisalign yourself and see how the process works.I'll also be doing a post on how I care for the aligners and my teeth!

Have you ever had invisalign?

Happy 2016 and best wishes for the year! 2015 was a bit all over the place to say the least so here's to 2016 and making it the best year yet!

Now, on to the important I've created this outfit before but I felt like it needed a little more styling and a different kind of style vibe. I paired it with these trainers from New Look this time. I've always wanted the Adidas x Pharell range but never managed to get my hands on them and of course not having a job doesn't help when all the colourful ones are crazy prices on ebay and the likes! So I feel these fill the void in my wardrobe!

Do you have any great wardrobe dupes?
